Hello-
Yes- I've had that. I know that a chiropractor could help you with that, in the short term. What I found for myself, was that I was hunching and slouching alot, and that was due to my pectorals being too tight and my back muscles too weak. I know they feel tight and icky, but they are stretched beyond their normal range and are too weak to combat the pectorals. This makes them ache. Anyway, they can't help hold down your shoulder blades correctly, and when they get too tired, they spasm and pull the vertebrae out of joint a bit. It hurts! I went to a physical therapist and worked diligently on exercises for my upper back and shoulder blade area and it has been a miracle. Now I do weight training with no discomfort whatsoever, and I haven't been to the chiro for about 7 months. My back doesn't go "out" anymore. If it feels a little creaky, I roll it on a foam roller for a minute or so and it's good again.
Incidentally, when you cure the hunching and tight pectorals, you can expand your chest and breathe fully and more slowly. This helps cut the panic.
Good luck with it.
