Support Group

I was wondering if anyone has tried doing a support group within your home town? I live in a small town with not a lot of options in the Health care/ mental health field. But I am sure there are a lot of people that may be going through anxiety/depression/social anxiety. I have thought of trying to organize a support group w/ weekly meetings. Can anyone give me any insight as to if they have belonged or attended one and how I might get one started. Thanks. Tee PS anyone outthere from Vernal Utah?

I would love to do this as well. My hope is one day I can start one within my church. I live in California.....

Tee...I have also had the same thought. I really believe I could help sooo many people in our community!!!

I have no idea where to begin...I think people who suffer from panic disorder, or who have suffered tend to want to reach out and help others...
