Cymbalta
I was on cymbalta for about a month when i realized I was having side effects to it. It seemed to work at first, but then my depression and anxiety worsened. I wasn't socializing, I was always crying. and did have suicidal thoughts.
See your doctor as soon as possible, please!
Side note - lexapro made be the better route for you and klonopin has a longer lasting effect then xanax. I was originally on xanax because I was slammed with a crisis and that was the only drug my doctor to get to me ASAP. Although it worked for about 4-5 hours, my body rebounded once those hours were up. Klonopin works up to about 7-8 hours.
Have you taken xanax before?
Hope you are feeling a little better - send me a message if you want to talk privately. I'm here for you.

Hey JILLIAN44, I took Cymbalta for two years in 2005 through 2007 but they put me in the hopital and put me on a lot of other stuff to get me on it like Depakote and Seroquel, also Ativan. When weaned off of it I went through hell from the withdrawal. I tried to get back on it six months later when I started getting very depressed again but could not tolerate it. I tried 3 times to get on it and the last time nearly killed me. So yes, I have had a bad reaction to Cymbalta, but I have had bad reactions to other antidepressants as well. They increase my anxiety and panic to the point I can't stand it.
