Having a really bad day. Need encouragement.
Things have been really stressful lately. My husband and I run a business. I spend about 30-33 hours a week in the store. We are moving into a new house but trying to do renovation work while moving in. By the way, this all started during the week of Chistmas. We have someone stealing from our business but cannot figure out who through our normal routes so our parents (the owners) are breathing down our necks constantly to find out who it is. Then today we met them at our store and I basically had to hear how I suck at doing the orders. I'm already going in at 5:15 to 5:30 in the morning to count money before my shift starts. I stay late most days to get deposits done because we run short staffed in order to save on labor. My anxiety is running high because of issues relating to my post from yesterday. I just feel like I'm gonna blow. Things have been going so well, but I'm exausted I'm so tired from moving and working, and Christmas, and renovating, and stressing about work, I can't even think straight. I feel like I'm just screwing everything up right now.
Go home tonight, if you can listen to soothing music over dinner, take a hot bath if possible and do your relaxation tape. Remember that retail thefts most often come from inside and don't blame yourself. After all, you are not stealing. If your parents don't like it, let them figure out who is causing the problem. Don't take any stuff off of them!! Talk to your husband and tell him you need some backup from him when the parents get on your case.
Remember, you are a special person, so cherish yourself.
Hope this helps. Remember, Lucinda says always talk to yourself like your best friend and soothe yourself.
I seriously doubt you are screwing anything up. It is the thief who is screwing things up, so put the blame on the right person, not yourself.
