I have been sick all my life, with Alcoholism, fear, shame, anger, Addicted to Sex Drug and Rock N Roll, It all started with being born in the 60s All my family was tore up, So I got sucked into the Tornado, I started Smoking when I was about 9 years old, it stunted my growth, from head to toe! If you think smoking weed is not a gate way drug, you have been lied to by the enemy, He is real, he will do whatever he can to keep you from following Jesus, God gave me a chance to follow Him when I was a baby, but I chose to go to the right with the Stoners and sex offenders, Thats all we thought about back in the 70s, Lets get wasted and have wild fun sex, As I tryed to make it through School, I failed, I gave up to easy, my brain Just didnt work right, I was very slow, I could not memorize much, I couldnt pass a test. So I said hell with it after the 10th grade, I quit. I started working and selling drugs, never did well with any of that either, arrested, I got when I turned 18, Drunk driver, what a fool, God saved me 26 years young and dumb as all hell, I started going to church, I got involved with Overcomers outreach ect, I love the Lord, but I never fully surrendered to God, to complete devotion and obedience, To be a true Christ follower I must give up my rights and my own desires, my flesh is weak but my spirit is willing, God wants me to stay sober and serve others, Celebrate Recovery is the Ministry God put me in, I had to start over this year, Last year at this time, I was in a Toxic relationship, Make a long story short, I was sober and doing the deal, then one day, I met the woman of my dreams, so I thought, see is so sexy, she has hair down to her butt, she has this smile that mad my heart jump out of my chest, But she told me from the get go, that she only wants to be FWB, and it was the start of a major fall, I lost my sobriety my sanity, My love for God, She became a Idole to me, then 6 month later I was sick and depressed I got Ed, and I was drunk 1/2 the time, so see walked away from me, It broke me, I saw her with her new man, It killed me I just wanted to die, I loved her so much! She just didnt care, I met her at Church, I still see her there, but she wont even talk to me anymore, I thank god for her, She pushed me back to God and this program of recovery, I am on lesson #3. it took me a long time to get going on this thing, but I am glad God gave it to me, I trust that I will overcome, thats what My name means anyway!
