Of course you all probably know by now, that my wedding is a lil less than 7mos away! I know, I know, plenty of time to lose the weight I have recently gained. When I got my dress I had lost about 15 lbs from when I had alot of anxiety, and had a very low appetite. So of course since I've gotten better, my appetite has come back, at times it feel like it has come back full force! I am a person who used to enjoy exercising, like back when I was a teenager! Now I absolutely hate it, but know I need to do it. When I do do it, I'll do it 5- 6 times a week, sometimes 7 days, for about 30-45 mins a day. However, I will ususally only do it for about 2wks-2mos., then I stop for a long time, bcuz I have no real interest in it. I'll start eating alot of sweets, and bam, gain the weight right back on! I have trouble staying focused, and incorperating exercise into my life, and keeping it as apart of my daily life. Why can't I just keep doing it, like I put my clothes on everyday, and eat everyday? I need a food plan that I will ike and stay with, and a exercise plan that I will like and stay with! How do I do this? I even went out and bought 4 different exercise dvd's so that I can have a different one for every week of the month. I like them all, but I guess not enough to keep my interest. Also, I take Lexapro, can that have something to do with weight gain. I am 6 ft tall, and usually if I gain weight no one can really tell, but now it's starting to be noticable alot! I have been one of those ppl who didn't lose or gain weight, just stayed the same. Now it seems like since I'm getting married soon, the weight just piles on, and I am too lazt to work at it. If I did lose weight in the past, it would just go with out me even trying or noticing! I know I'm getting older, and metabolism isn't as good, but why now, and how can I keep exercise apart of my daily life without the roller coaster? Any ideas? Sorry so long!

Hi Brandi
There are a few things you can do.
One, is to go to as natural a diet as possible and watch your fat intake. Don't eat any refined food and stay away from wheat products, which may be causing some bloating.
Two, you can try going all raw. And keeping your fat low. Eat as many fruits and veggies as you want, have absolutely no oil, and a small amount of fat. You can do a little avocado here and there or a few nuts for snacks, but don't overdo.
Three, do more aerobic exercise than weight bearing, since aerobic is more fat-burning.
Also drink water, don't drink any kind of diet drinks. They have so much junk and chemicals in them, and your body will retain this stuff. If you want to drink something sweet, have some juice, or some lemonade made with a natural sweetener or plain sugar. Or ice tea, but only if you have to.
Remember, keep it as natural as possible. Your body will run food through it, and not retain anything this way.
