I've read the book and watched the movie, and I do use the power of attraction. I don't know if you're religious or not, but the Bible says the same thing: You need to ask and BELIEVE as if you already have what you want, and then and only then will your prayers be answered (as long as they're in line with God's will). The power of attraction is the same thing, except they've left God out of the equation. And yes, it does work, but not instantly. Hope this helps you make your decision.

I have the book and movie as well, I watched the movie online the first day it came out about 3 yrs ago. I have used it successfully with materialist things and $$. This program we are doing reminds me a lot of the secret, the positive thinking etc. I have been using the secret principals the last week or so for my mood as well. Even though I know how to use law of attraction for some reason this program we are doing is working better then if I were just to apply LOA since we are learning techniques in the program to help us overcome anxiety instead of just using LOA to see ourselves overcome it. I think both together could work nicely though.

I have successfully used the Secret (as you can see from my "location"). I agree with EastCoastGirl - the programs are similar. This program, however, provided tools that help you use the Secret (which is your thoughts) for as much positive, as negative. My problem was that when my baby was born, I found myself unable to control my negative thoughts anymore....thats why Im back....
