having a hard time

hey guys, i started the program and was doing very well, and then one day i couldn't fight off a few scary thoughts and it came crashing down on me, and i feel like i'm back to ground zero, anyone have advice, or motivational insight?

Hi-

my advice would be to look at what you have learned so far and remember that you just told us all that you were doing very well. Get back up on the horse and start again. Review what you have learned so far and continue on. You hit a bump which is totally normal.

You can never go back to ground zero because you are more educated now. Maybe you went back to ground 1 or 2. :)

Newrunner's absolutely right. You never go all the way back to square one. It just feels like it.

The road to recovery is a bumpy one and things do not go perfectly to plan. There will be setbacks and it's okay to have them. Instead of focusing on feeling like you've failed, realize that you're working towards your recovery and every experience offers something to learn. Keep going and try not to get too discouraged.
