Irrational Fears

Does anyone have any issues with irrational fears? I know the fear is irrational and it still bothers me!!

Hi Ian,
I too have problems with irrational thinking. I have not had problems, at least not severe, for many years and it has come back full blown...the reason...scary thoughts run amok! I am finding the program is helping and I did make an appointment with my doc to get a check-up. It helps me to watch comedies or do something that requires my total concentration. Hope this helps you as well.

I think almost every person with anxiety suffers from irrational thoughts. They are a pain aren't they? And you're right, we're smart enough to realize that the thoughts are irrational. I have gotten a bit better with this by under reacting to the thoughts when they enter my mind. They still come but you have to learn to allow them to be there without feeding into them.
