Lately I have spoken with many people who currently have the program, but they won't take advantage of the knowledge and tools it has to offer! I am not sure WHY they buy it ans either sit it aside, or simply dabble at it with no real gusto. I am just like you, I thought I had a brain tumor or that I was going crazy. I often thought to myself "surely nobody else on earth has these kind of thoughts!" But I was wrong. I bought the program and jumped right into it head first. I was extremely tired of those terrifying panic attacks and also not being able to drive and sometimes not being able to even walk outside. MAN-o-man......I was DETERMINED to get over all that stuff! I hated it so badly. Others suffer in the same manner, but they will not take the time for the program. Why are you holding back from getting rid of anxiety? It's going to be one way or the other......Do the program and get better, or do nothing and stay the same in that fearful mode the rest of your life.
This is coming from someone who has proved that the program will do it's job if the person who buys it will do their job.
Now I drive, now i don't have panic attacks anymore. I do indeed have times of anxiety, but I now have the tools to deal with it and cut it short! I care about you, really I do! why post this if I didn't?

Hey RodH, I think the key word you said would be "Determined". I finished the program. It's still hard. I have alot of "secondary gains" like the program talks about.
Your ? is a good one. I bought a treadmill thinking I would use it...I have some...but not alot.
Were creatures of habit and sometimes it feels better to stay where were at than to try something knew..even when we have bought something we just knew would help us.

It is a good question. I am a person that lives by the motto Try,Try, and Try again. And I do get some grief from others about it because they think I bounce all over trying to find solutions, etc. But-- I see it as taking care of me. I think the pain of doing nothing has to be greater than the maybe pain of changing before people get off their duff and get moving. And sadly, many don't ever get there because maybe they are afraid of the future changes or just have given up and are willing to settle. I find myself living this out in this anxiety adventure, in my diet/food choices, in learning to run and getting over some physical issues that were hampering that... many places. I most assuredly didn't learn this from my folks-- I guess I finally decided that if I wanted something, I would have to be the one to make it happen. And so I am. I hope my kids are learning this from me.

Hi Rod,

I think that, for some, it's the old saying "better the devil you know than the devil you don't know". Newrunner had it right in saying that some are afraid to change and would rather settle for what they have, as bad as it is.

I, also, have heard of people saying that they have the program and that they were scared to start it. And people that get into it and find that some of the approaches scare them and they set it aside. Even people that are intimidated to even try the relaxation exercise as they feel it is some sort of hypnosis.

I admit that I went through the program once but I am going through it again and finding things that I never knew existed the first time around (I was probably too anxious to take it all in the first time).

I guess it all comes down to it being a person's choice. If they buy the program and are intimidated to try it, or give up after a lesson or two, it is their choice. I would definitely give it a shot though, after all I paid for it. So, what is there to lose?

Flyer99
I too am paying for the program and going through it a second time.

I'm having a major probem now with paying an extra 69.99 every 2 weeks for coaching which I didn't sign up for.
The coaching I had was good but even during when I have not been coached, I'm charged 69.99 every 2 weeks.
Anyone else have this problem?

This is making me think twice about this program!!

Yikes Marilyn Christine-

Have you been in contact with the customer service people?? That doesn't seem right, if you didn't sign up for it.

Good luck.

You ask why don't people follow through with the Program? I think the answer is pretty simple: 1) it's a tremendous amount of effort and 2) it can be a very painful process. Clearly there are are more subtleties, but I think it boils down to these two root issues.
