I have listened to this weeks session.
I have realized numerous things that
cause me anxiety. To name a few:

Getting out and riding my bike.
Going to the movies.
Being around my family.

The list goes on and on.

It is unsettling to discover how
much of my days are spent in anxiety.

I am already beginning to take steps
to face these things and overcome the
anxiety.

This will sound strange but something
I am doing is taking karate classes.
The discipline makes you face your
fears and overcome them.

One of the disciplines is Indomitable
Spirit. This is all about facing things
we can't beat or taking on the odds.
Challenge our boundaries.

I am having to deal with my anxiety
by myself. My family just doesn't
understand and chooses to think I've
gone off the deep end.

Ready or not here I come!

P.S. Ignore the word divorce in
the image. The expression fits my
feelings.

You have made me LOL! and that's a good thing cause laughing relieves stress!!! I have the same experience with family... they really don't understand. At first that made it worse....i worried about what they thought of me.....about them being mad at me>>>ect.ect. Now i'm coming to realize that i can't worry about these things... i must take care of myself. It hurts when they give me flack but i've learned to put my foot down and say....I have nothing to feel guilty about! The Karate sounds like a great idea....people like us are energetic and GREAT at mastering new things. You should pat yourself on the back for starting up a new endeaver that is rewarding and fun!
