Celexa vs. Lexapro for memory?
I have been on Celexa for almost a year and it has been a life saver for my anxiety and depression. I also take 1/2 of a Klonopin at bed time. The thing is, although my memory has never been great; it seems like this makes me downright stupid. . . is Lexapro better? I know the drugs are similar.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

I took Celexa 11 years ago and it worked very well for me. (Was on it for 18 months.) I don't remember having memory issues....that sounds funny, but I don't think there was a problem.
Currently I am on Lexapro 20 mg (4 months now) as Celexa did not seem to be make me more anxious this time around. The Lexapro actually seems to help my memory, in fact, my thoughts in general seem much more clear.
I do seem to be very sleepy though. I take it at dinner time, sleep well through the night, but have trouble waking up. Feel very foggy in the AM and not as energetic throughout the day.
Best wishes
