Okay i have a Dentist appointment Tuesday 7 in the morning i am really scared and stressed out tonight its 4:00ami couldn't sleep so i took half a Alprazolam 5mg. and all of a sudden i feel tired and weak but i feel strange and not so good.. i'm not sure why it didn't stop the anxiety becuase i feel uneasy and scared it just made me feel low and tired but not good and relaxed.. It use to make me feel good relaxed and normal before. Im not sure why its doing this? If i didn't wait long enough and paniced i'm not sure.

Does it matter if i have been taking half a vicodin for a month everyday for wisdom teeth pain then today i took vicodin around 8:00pm then took the half xanax around 3:00 in the morning.

I really hope i dont feel like this again when i take it i dont understand . i just felt really down and out of control like a not so good feeling and very weak like something bad might happen or my heart will go slow or something.

It just made me think of like taking it again im supose to monday night and in the morning before the wisdom teeth removal also thier using anastetic so all ofthat slowing me down would scare me .. my body feels not so good like that im upset the xanax made me feel like that. i'm so use to being wound up that this is scary to me to be down idk if the anastetic would make me feel bad or bring me so low being dangerous or something..

speaking as a pharmacist-

I guess I wouldn't mix the Vicodin and the Xanax. The narcotic in the Vicodin and the Xanax both are central nervous system depressants.

Just get thru the teeth and then try the Xanax again after you are off the pain meds.

You can't panic worse than you have panicked in the past. You have faced the beast and are still here. You are stronger than you think and are doing great.

You'll be fine. I'm a former drug addict. Use to take a handful of different types of narcotics, and smoke pot on top of it. And I was on depression and anxiety medication. Maybe you're just worried about the dentist, or tired. Try to relax and get some sleep.

It went fine. anastetic was nothing.. thats what i was afraid of all i know is i'm out then up in a wheel chair very calm. they gave me a valume and some painkillers. I took the xanax again the night before surgery and it actually helped i think it was because i was so nervous i was blaming it on the xanax. But the xanax really did help me. After having my teeth out is a pain but i'm glad i got through it and beat my fear of being put to sleep.

Great for you that you made it to the dentist. I can't seem to make the appt.just to get my teeth cleaned . Three years ago I loved getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months. Now that I have anxiety I'm avoiding it.Going to the dentist is tops on my challenge list
