Yes you WILL get through it. Try to get your mind off things, concentrate on something you enjoy, like watching t.v. or reading a book. I don't think it's the xanax making you depressed. Think happy thoughts.

I was having horrible panic attacks about a year and a half ago, and my doctor put me on Xanax. Even a really small dose made me feel SO DEPRESSED. The doctor then put me on some Lorazepam instead, and I noticed a huge improvement in my mood. Everyone has a different body chemistry, and you probably need to find a medication that works well with yours. Please talk to your doctor about your symptoms so he/she can find the best medication for you. Good luck with the program! Hopefully, you won't need any medication when you complete this course
