I posted last week about prepping to go to a movie (haven't been in over a year) and I did it!!! I drove because it eased my anxiety, but once we were on our way there I felt great. When we got to the theatre my husband kept asking how I felt and I said I felt great! We got popcorn and soda (which is huge because normally when I'm out I refuse to eat or drink so I won't have to go to the bathroom) but I was so happy to be out and about that I said 'why not!' to the snacks! Well, I was perfectly fine throughout the whole movie - I loved it!!! And I ate the popcorn and drank soda and didn't have to run in the middle of the movie to the restroom, the popcorn didn't make me sick, none of my obsessive scary thoughts happened. When the movie was over I felt SO great that I wanted to go out to dinner! Another huge thing for me because I"m out of the house and eating/drinking and not 5 mins away from my house...but it was my hubby who was beat! haha! I think he also had a rush of emotions about me going out and it exhausted him! So we headed home and ordered in, but it was perfect! I felt so amazing that I did it and it helped set the way for the rest of the weekend! I went out and got my nails done (which normally I don't like to do because I don't know if nail salons will have a restroom and I don't like to sit and wait for the nails to get done and dry) but I went! I also went with hubby to a gardening store and got lots of veggies and herbs and planted it all because I want to start growing and eating my own veggies... trying to go a little more green! :D

I just wanted to share... how was everyone else's weekend??

Congrats on a great day! I have alot of the same issues so I compeltely understand. We went to a party on Friday and some shopping on Saturday, which made me slightly uncomfortable but I worked through it. Though I did insist on getting takeout from the food court instead of finding a restaurant. Alot of my problem with restaurants is also the noise level. Anyhow I did allow myself to go to this redneck "bar" (I use that term loosely) to see my brother in law play. So I also had a pretty successful weekend too.
