questions about celexa

hi everyone, I just have a few questions. is anyone taking celexa? if you are are having any side affects to it? I'm just wondering because I think I am, my heart pounds more then normal, and I feel swollen all the time, I'm going to my pcp tomorrow and I'm going to talk to her about, but I was just wondering if anyone else is taking it, and any side affects

I've been on 10 mg of celexa for close to 2 years, and have had a lot of side effects - including constant ear ringing, weight gain, some memory problems, etc.

my experience hasn't been all that positive.

i would continue seeing your doctor and monitor your side effects over the next while. some of them may dissipate after you have been on the drug for a while.

LiJe, I notice you mentioned memory problems. I feel I have the same problem, but I have been on Celexa for so many years I would not have thought that was it. I know I need to look into my meds but last time I tried changing I crashed.

I'm sorry to hear about that.

I have noticed I have problems with remembering a particular word when I'm talking - or i lose my train of thought sometimes - and then I just can't remember.

When you tried to come off - did you taper your drugs slowly? I'm sorry to hear about your frustration.

hi, I've been on Celexa for 7 weeks, I stopped taking it for now, to see if anything is going to change, but if not I will go back on it, because it was helping, maybe I will 10mgs instead of 20mgs.

i have been on clexa for 8 mths, main side effects that are bad are No sexual desire anymore and really hard to climax.. other than that, nothing.
