Getting my tubes tied tomorrow HELP Please

And I am a nervous wreck for some odd reason.
I have been wanting this forever now it is here and I am chicken little.
I am actaully more afraid of the IV....
Any advice: Help...

I am a nurse, but I get nervous about the IV thing too. I think that worries me more than anything. Just try to relax and know it will be quick. I always ask for the most experienced person around. Don't be afraid to speak up and ask!!! I always pray first too and it seems the Lord always sends the right person. You hang in there girl - it will be over in a flash!

First of all, I know what you're going through, in 1995 I had to go through 2 major operations for cancer and I was very afraid of the anesthesia..when you actually go to sleep.I started counting backward from 100..I think I made 95..ZZZ..and then I remember waking up in recovery..I didn't have anxiety attacks back then..isn't that odd? I didn't get them til about five or six years after I had the cancer..but if I had to go through it again my best defense was that I knew people were praying for me..and my prayers go out to you too..everything will be allright
