Hey there,
So I recieved the program two weeks ago when I started to feel really good again. The anxiety symptoms and depression had subsided, I was just having what-if thoughts, but I found it easier to toss them out the window. Well those two weeks I was on the last week of my pill and then my period. The anxiety started up when I went on my pill again for the first week of my cycle. My doctor pinponted last time I was there that a new BC pill was causing my anxiety/depression symptoms etc because of the hormone change, so they put me back on my old pill since it worked so well for years. When they put me back on it I felt immediately better as the weeks went on. Now that I went through the full cycle and am starting month 2 on it again, it seems to have come back. I'm very emotional, can cry on a whim, have a hard time sleeping, and am very suseptible to anxiety. I know this will taper off as my body gets used to thr hormones, but it is frustrating! My fiance even made a note of how great I was doing the last few weeks and now i'm feeling anxious/depressed again. I'm in Session 2 right now learning the tools to cope with this, but I get nervous since my hormones seem to be running the show. Anyone have any advice or tips?
Woman issues bringing anxiety back
I know exactly what you are going thru but I am not on the pill I think I am on the beginnings of men-o-pause. I noticed that I would get anxious right before my period. But I do think your right it has a lot to do with the hormones.
Knowing really helps because you know that you will get over it in a couple of days. It does get better the anxiety does mellow out month by month.
I notice when I started taking my b12 vitiams and fish oil and Magnesium/calcium has really helped balance it out too.
Good luck and just know you will get better everyday in everyway.

i Know EXACTLY what youtr going through too. In fact the past 4 days i have been SUPER anxious and depressed and less motivated, cry easily, sensitive, breaking out
and i was doing SO GOOD too before my hormones got all crazy. see a month and a half ago i stopped my BC pills (ortho tricyclin lo) and i feel like my hormones are all crazy and all my dumb phobias (like feeling of not swallowing and breathing)are back and i feel like i cant control them. i got off the pill because i heard that bc pills can make your anxiety/depression worse but now i feel worse. . U can PM me if you want to talk more about it cause i know it all too well

Same here girls. I'm going through mental-pause. LOL That's what brought on all my anxiety - honestly. The hormonal fluctuations, which in turn eventually start to disrupt the endocrine system and start a roller coaster with the adrenals and thyroid. SO I continue on with all my herbals to balance all the above plus take my stuff that helps with anxiety, AND follow the program. If it weren't for Lucinda's program I doubt I would have made it this far because these hormonal changes can be a nightmare at times. I had miscarriage issues years ago, healed it all naturally and ended up with four beautiful daughters. They are all teens now (the ones still at home) with our oldest getting married this Fall. Unfortunately being I had miscarriage issues, which indicates a hormonal imbalance, I now face the same as I progress through change. I'll be 52 in Novemember and from what I read, it's the average age that women tend to be 'officially' menopausal. AND I'm throwing a great big menopause party - wanna come?? haha
