Hi Everyone,
Haven't posted anything here for quite some time. After doing session 5, I decided it was time to quit smoking. I have smoked about 1 1/2 packs a day for 27 years. I few of us on the forums got together and started a Quit Smoking Support Group.
I am extremely proud to say that I haven't smoked in 11 days, and I never will again! :D I had given up caffeine and all the sugar I could months ago, so this was my final straw holding me back.

Thanks to the program and the support,I finally got rid of a very bad habit.

That is wonderful! I am trying to stop smoking too. I'm smoking 4-6 cigarettes a day and I want to stop completely. I would like the support from your Quit Smoking Support Group. Is that through the program forums?

What a wonderful thing! Congratulations. In January I am coming up on one year since I quit. It's definitely one of the best things I ever did! I smoked for six years. I went through periods where I would smoke a pack a day to just a few a day & I had tried to quit various times. I am glad it stuck this time.

You should be very proud of yourself! :)

Last Oct. was my two year anniversary.Congrats on quitting. Isn't it funny how little time it takes to feel like " I will never smoke again"? I remember when I was 90% sure I was never gonna smoke again how angry I was at myself. Not for quitting but for smoking for 23 years.Once I got beyond the crutch of smoking and physical cravings I kept thinking to myself "WHY the F did I go through so much misery if it was so easy to quit!" All the times I poured water on my pack only to drive to the store a half hour later!!!!! I was so angry and yet so relieved. To me nicotine is the devil incarnate!!!!!I once had a dream I was smoking and woke up in a cold sweat.I was so relieved the dream wasn't real !!!!!!!Welcome to freedom!!!!!
