* The real thing is never as bad as i imagine
*I have the tools to face my avoidances and limitations
*I don't have to do it the hard way
*I can have as much control over my practice sessions as I choose
*Every challenge is an opportunity
*It's ok to be uncomfortable
*I have the skills I've never had before
*Is it realistic, rational, reasonable?
*Plan, practice patience.
