How long to give Wellbutrin?

I have been on buperion SR 150, for 3 weeks. I feel foggy, can't concentrate, can't sleep, a panic attack today, for the first time in a long time, still having vision issues. All in all, feel pretty miserable. After 3 weeks of the generic wellbutrin, 150 sr, shouldn't I be feeling a little better? I took it before, a couple years ago, in the 300XL form, and I felt pretty good. Went off after about 6 months, for about 2 years. But, I can't remember how long I was on it before I felt good. My memory is shot I guess. Anyhow, has it been long enought that I should have felt the difference? I am sure that I felt better, before I went on it. I am gonna make a dr. appointment to discuss it on Monday or Tuesday, and wanted some input before I went. I am thinking that I would be better off not on anything at all. Any Experiences?

Hi Cinny,

I have been up to 6 weeks before I felt any good results from AD's. It seemed the first one took longer than the ones I was prescribed to take to replace the others. It varies from drug to drug and person to person. My pharmasist always said 4-6 weeks for full benefit.

Effexor was my first and worst as the side effects were horrible for 6 weeks.

Hope you get relief very soon one way or another.
