Hi everyone I an on week 4 of the program and I find it very comforting just knowing that I am on the road to recovery. I am witting to ask if theres anyone out there who smokes because I am a smoker and in listening to all these tapes up until now I have heard that we should stop caffeine and change our eating habits and do exercise but no where have I heard anything about smoking. I have been a smoker for 20 years now and I have tried to quit and really would like to in the future however I am not sure now is the perfect time since its one of the only things that calms me down when I am having a panic/anxiety attack. I know it is probably just in my head but none the less trying to quit before I have the tools to handle what quitting will do to my psyche is not something I think I can hanle right at the moment. Just wondered if anyone else could relate? Thanks....Chrissie

Hi I smoke also and yes it is one of my relaxation tools. I think I could easily quit but it's the "after I eat smoke" that is the best. That one I will have a hard time with. I have cut down a lot though. I think once we get through the program then it will be a little easier to try to quit. Any time you want to talk just let me know.............
