I notice after I eat I get heart palptaions, and like tremors in my body and sometimes feel like I am gona have a panic attack. I went to the dr for this in March and all blood test came back ok and even had a in office EKG and it was fine. I am scared to eat cause of these feelings. I don't know if I am doing this to myself cause I am scared to eat or if the drs missed something and there is something really wrong. Any advice or can someone relate?

May I ask, what in particular you are eating when you feel the worst? Because there is a connection between food and our reactions to it.

What's a daily type of menu for you? You can be general.

There are a lot of ingredients in foods that can cause allergic reactions. You may need to look into an elimination diet to pinpoint the type of foods you are sensitive to.

Shif said everything I would have much more consisely! :D And I just posted to someone else here about this, too. I used to have these symptoms, and the elimination diet helped me so much in finding out what I should not be eating or drinking.

You can have a sugar sensitivity, a food intolerance (which is not a food allergy), or acid reflux (the same nerve that controls the stomach controls the heart, so you can get cross-reactions).

If you want help to work out a diet that you can try for 2-4 weeks to see if it helps, let me know - I'll be very happy to supplement what you can find online with my own experiences over 25 years.

I would recommend a book by Jonathan Brostoff, MD and Linda Gamlin, "Food Intolerance and Food Allergy - The Complete Guide". It's old, but good - you can read some of it here: http://books.google.com/books?...t&ct=result&resnum=1

Hi Rosalie..I had the same problem as you. Check the foods you are eating for monosodium glutamate aka MSG It is in ALOT of foods. Even salad dressings and batters. Eating became so much better for me when I eliminated this from my diet. You could also read the thread about MSG on week 5 in the forums. Good luck to you.
