I started a new job and I tried to don't have anxiety, be assertive and do good and I end up showing my weakness all the way again, I have people making jokes on me again.......how can I stop being so silly God......I know I shouldn't but I hate myself right now....and in top of that I don't have a sense of humor about it.......I am a failure.I just want to say it.and I am going to work on changing my thoughts but I needed it to let it out!!

Moontale,

You let it out. I've felt that way so many times. Starting a new job is always anxiety provoking. I always feel like everyone notices and is picking up on how anxious I am and then that affects my performance, and I usually manage to really embarass myself.

It just hurts my heart to hear your pain and your use of the words "hate" towards yourself.

You are not a failure. Maybe you are comparing yourself to others. You can't. Use positive self talk. Nobody needs to know. Give yourself words of encouragement every step of the way. It'll get better. It's difficult at first, but it'll get easier. Also, please replace the word "hate" with the word "love" now. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Thank You very much!!! I feel so much better...a couple of days passed and I kept going to work, I forgave myself for mistakes and I am learning to embrace and be happy with my imperfections!!
Your words were so kind, Thank you for letting me know about your pain for me, that believe or not gave me comfort, is like somebody really caring about my feelings. BIG hug!!:)
