Is this Obsession or Anxiety?????

Ok I have the same thought running through my head 24/7 and it is "what if I have a panic attack" when I mean I have this thought I mean I have this thought all day is it both. I went through depression four years ago along with anxiety and I had the thought of will I ever get better 24/7. Can someone please help me out here. Thank you.

I think it is both of them. It's good to try and put up the stop sign to keep the thought from going around and around on the hamster wheel. How about actually making some red stop signs and putting them up around the house? It will be easier to acknowledge a real picture of one when your mind is racing and is unable to picture one in your head. Tina

When I have my scary thoughts I always try to think about what has been going on in my life at the time. Chances are there is something in your life which is not going as you would like it to. I say this because you mention that you have had anxiety/depression in the past and it seems like you were able to work through it. Could something have occured recently that maybe you didn't think a great deal about consciously, but subconsciously it has affected you? It won't completely "cure" your anxiety, but it does help to indentify the external stressors in your life.
