hi,
when i was going through panic and anxiety and everything else.that was before i was free from panic and anxiety.. i found out that your faith is important and when both of you go together it is amazing how it helps. it did for me and my wife and i know many more.
it gave me peace and a reason to live and it made life worth while.
i think that it brings a family closer together. this had been the only time in my life that ihd found someone that would go to church with me.it meant the whole world to me.
hope this helps you.take care and be blessed.

Hi, I just went to church today for the third time this year. It felt great sitting in between my seperated parents of 20 years. The message seemed like it was directed to me. I am on my 4th day of program. Yesterday, I felt bad and today I felt better. I cried at church and I felt some release. In the service the minister talked about how at times we feel like we are grapes being squeezed with so many obstacles, within those obstacles good will come out.
I really find that if you have a strong faith in God and you have someone to share it with like your husband it's a great idea to go church. I personally feel it could benefit your anxiety because you will be doing something positive. Church is such a great place to meet great people. Also a lot of things we learn in church or from the Bible help us with how to see the world and others and how to treat ourselves and others. My therapist involves religion into our sessions, I'm am very glad that I found her, it is an added bonus.
I'm happy to hear that Church has been soo good for other people and their anxiety as well. One of the things I'm most afraid of is dying and I'm hoping that by going to church that I can feel closer to God and maybe not fear it as much, or at least be more accepting of the fact that it will happen eventually.
