When I first started, I felt the same way. More anxious. More depressed. It's (supposedly) a normal response.
Reconditioning and learning new skills is overwhelming especially when you're trying to do it in a different/healthy way in order to heal and move on.
For me, I like to escape from whatever causes pain. I love control. I've always run away from things/situations/etc. or avoided them if I could not feel the control. If something was overwhelming or too painful, I would bottle it up and hide it deep inside myself. Now, trying to deal with feelings/emotions in a different way has gotten scary, but in order to heal from my past, I have to learn to face my greatest fear head on.
Face your fear whatever it may be. It's okay to feel anxious. Learn more about yourself. Come here. You're strong even when you don't think so or feel that you can't.

There are a lot of positive people that post a ton of helpful information on this site. Ans there are some threads that just seem to not be helpful for me, but maybe they help others. My motto is take what you like and leave what you don't. I think it's part of this condition that if I read certain posts, especially the ones about OCD or physical symptoms, I start to focus too much on my symptoms. Kinda like a hypochondriac
. But again there are so many positive members here that have really helped me, so keep at it!
