I've noticed that many people have said that session 3 of the program is so difficult for them because of the changing the negitive to positive. I'm the same way as well, and I am trying but it's just so hard. When I finally do realize that my mind is being negitive to myself, I'm supose to come up with this long thought out sentense that makes no sense what so ever. How does that help me?
For example: I'm worried about the healing of my right ear, because for 21 years of my life it hasn't been fixed.
Now for the positive statement would be something like: You're fine! You don't need to worry about it because right now it's healing up nicely. Pretty soon you'll be back to normal.
Yeah...no, not really. That's exactly what I would tell myself before, or have other people tell me and guess what? They and myself were wrong! Months later the healing would take a turn for the worse and it'd be back to square one all over again. So, yeah this positive thing isn't all that easy to handle. Also I don't really pay that much attention to my mind because it wonders all over the place. I'm pretty sure not many people can do what I can with my mind, but I have the ability to dream while I'm awake. Also when I'm asleep and am dreaming, I remember everything that I dreampt about and I can control my dreams. Many people I've talked to tell me that they can't even remember their dreams at all let alone control them, and that their lives are so busy during the day they don't have any time at all to let it wonder. So the part where I'm supose to write down every negitive thought kind of is stuck on the back burner, so to speak.
Someone meantioned that there was this book that had some positive sentenses you could apply to yourself when you need them. Is there such a book out there? Would that even apply to me? I'm kind of thinking of forgetting this session and moving on to the others.
