I came upon a mountain of fear

I came upon a mountain of fear that was taking over my life
I refused to let the monster win, so I called God to my side
He told me not to worry, for he would take my hand
He gave me strength to face the day, and then my life began

The dark cloud faded away, the sun began to shine
The joy that Satan tried to steal, once again was mine
I opened all the curtains and let the light shine in
Peace, joy and calmness belong to me again

The worry and fear melted away, I am not alone
God is watching over me high up from the throne
He will not forsake me nor ever leave my side
I will never doubt him, my savior is alive!

I came upon a mountain of fear, and looked it in the face
I conquered it by trusting the Lord and believing in my faith
No longer will I be burdened with anxiety and stress
God has helped me face my fears, now my mind can rest

Thank you God for your peace and love!

Beautiful. Do you mind if I share it?

Thanks for all of your responses. I have been having a hard time through all of this anxiety. I go to the doctor and he does not give me any comfort. I have found that God is the best therapist through this tough time. I do have more poems I have written and I will post some of them. Also, I do not mind if you copy or share these poems.
