Hello Everyone, I just came from the doctors and she gave me a sript for trazadone to help me sleep. (insomnia) I have never heard of this before, have any of my friends out there heard of it or used it. I'm not real sure if I want to try it.

I have been perscribed 30mg., but she said if I just want to try 1/2 of that the first night because I'm so leary of taking drugs. Do you feel any effects from it the next day ???

When I was feeling better and the paxil was working, I would take a half of a half of a 50 mg pill.
When I first started taking it though, I too 2 or 3 50 mg pills to help me sleep.

I am tired when I first get up so make sure you give yourself at least 8 hours of sleep.

Hi

I have used a drug called Zopiclone to get to sleep and Trazodone to stay sleeping longer. I have used the two drugs for approx. 4-5 years now.

7.5Mg of Zopiclone and 150Mg of Trazodone per night. I have no side effects that I know of.

Well, I took 50mg. at 10:00 pm and at midnight I was still wide awake. I had to take a xanax to get me to sleep. How long does it take to work ?or maybe I'm not taking enough.

I have tried melatonin, but I don't think I've tried it long enough, does it take some time to be in your system before ypu see results. When I try to sleep, my mind just won't shut off. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm getting very discouraged.
