Head heaviness an off balance
Has anyone experienced head heaviness like your head is lopsided and your off balance all the time...this has surely sparked up my anxiety..Ive had 2 catscans...been hospitilized..taken every blood test and nothing has come back...ofcourse the neuro wants to prescibe depressansts...i told her no, but this feeling has made me soooo depressed I finally started the Buspar...I rarely want to get out of bed....feels like im on a boat...can someone help me? This cant be anxiety or depression, can it?

I have had this for about two years now, this was actually my first anxiety symptom.
I went in, had a CAT scan and a lot of other testing and saw a neurologist.
He also put me on Buspar (it didn't help me) and said I was fine.
It really is just anxiety, but I wish I could tell you exactly how to stop feeling that way, since I still feel this way a lot.
Good luck to you!

Oh thanks for your response ...you know Im 28 now but when I was about 18 Ive had the same experience...I went on paxil and it helped all the symptoms go away... but recently I tried to go back on but my body seems to be so sensitive to any depressants I couldnt stay on it after 2 doses...im going back to the neuro next week...im really not convinced this is anxiety...im now out on disability....I just really want to live life normally.....
I have so many differant symptoms it's not funny but i do no that it's all anxiety. the feeling sucks. I have been trying different things and i came across acupunture and i really think it's going to help. I've done it once so far and It made me feel better still have some symptoms but hoping it will help after a couple of treatments and it's natural.
Maybe one day I will convince myself its anxiety b/c I know the doctors are tired of seeing me...LOL...its crazy b/c I feel like I know how to control my anxiety....but this seems to to be controlling me...Buspar isnt working for me either Im weaning myself off of it starting last night....it gives me weird sleep feelings and I think it might be taking energy from me....and I still wake up having a panic attack......
I just had that feeling starting last week. I was doing great with my anxiety and off effexor put then I had an anxiety attack again and that was 1 of the symptoms. If you have had all the tests and seen a specialist and they say nothings wrong then it's probably just anxiety. Not to mention look at all of us who have replied with the same symptoms. Stay strong and good luck.
I have had this anxiety symptom for over 30 years. It is the first symtom I got when this disorder started. I've also been to many doctors and had tests but all negative-just anxiety.
It's very scary though. I have found that since doing this program and I'm on zoloft, I don't have that feeling as often. I assure myself that it's just anxiety when I feel it and it doesn't get such a hold on me.
I do believe that as we all get better and better at accepting the feelings, working through them and keeping our thoughts positive, we'll be free of these symptoms.
Hang in, there is an end in sight!!!

Hi All,
I too have struggled with these symptoms for about 3 months now. i have had other symptoms in teh past ,but this is by FAR thw most scary. itoo, was doing well with my anxiety, until this one came up. this symptom seems to be sticking - all kinds of head stuff! My ear doc and Neurologist (cat scan) both told me i have deep rooted anxiety. i wish i could use my skills better - i feel like my head i stuck in this rut!! but do not feel alone, we are all feeling the same way.
