A couple was in marriage counseling. The wife was pouring out her heart to the counselor, stating how she had been unloved, neglected, and taken for granted for their entire twenty year marriage. She was in tears as she explained how her needs had not been met. After giving her what he considered adequate time to talk, the counselor got up, walked over to the wife, embraced her and gave her a very passionate, long kiss. The husband looked on warily. After the kiss the counselor said to the husband, “This is what she needs three times a week, can you do this?” The husband replied, “Well, I can bring her here Monday and Wednesday, but on Fridays I go fishing.”
