Today is my birthday, but instead of feeling joyful, I am feeling very tired, sad, and fearful. My OCD worry won't take the day off. On my desk, under some papers, I came across this note and I wanted to share it with you and dedicate it to all of you who are feeling alone today:
Today I said a prayer for you and asked the Lord above to grant you peace and guide you with his wisdom and his love. May all your dreams come true, and in the days and years ahead may God take care of you-May God who understands each need, listens to every prayer, bless you and keep you in his care.

Happy Birthday! I know how you feel. I turned 55 on April 18. All my children and grandchildren were over to help me celebrate. My anxiety was so bad that as much as I tried to enjoy the day I just couldn't wait for everyone to go home. We all have those days.
Hang in there - it will get better.
