What do you think about being a 30 year old virgin. Could it be because of my anxiety?

I think its admirable and I wish more people would simply be like you and me. I was 30 years old before I lost my virginity and I am a guy! I held fast to my beliefs and values, but will admit at least some of my avoidance of sex was anxiety related. Sex for the sake of sex is so demeaning to a beautiful thing. My advice to you and everyone out there, is wait wait wait until the time is right. The hell with societal pressures! I waited and dont regret it one bit. Dont dwell on the fact that you havent had sex, but dwell on the fact that you have enough independence, self worth, and restraint! Good for you!

Too many people have sex for the wrong reasons. You obviously have not met the right person yet. That is no big deal.

I'm a virgin too. 19 yrs old. Haha, the word had me thinking about "40 Year-Old Virgin" the movie. But ya. The hell with society's expectations. When sex comes, it comes.

Pardon my French but society's expectations can go eff themselves. I am 19 going on 20 and feel like crap or out of place when others around me have experienced sexual intercourse, while I have yet to. It's like pressure. This brings me to "40-Year-Old Virgin": Is it always about sex? I mean, isn't the main reason for it is to procreate? I guess the heat of the moment stuff can happen time to time, but come on...sheesh...
