it's the little success that change your life! everything baby step leads to another then another.
your timetable is your's and nobody else's. it's taken me years to get where i am. maybe other's have reached my point/gains/goals/whatever in 3 months. if so, good for them!
getting better is not now or has never been a competition for me! it's been me working for me - all about me. i couldn't get better for anyone else - it had to be for myself.
you'll practice when you're ready. and you'll stop tearing yourself apart and down when you're ready! being hard on yourself is the easiest thing ever. yet remember - you'd never be as hard on anyone else as you are on yourself. i know i'm not!
you used the word "confident" - good for you! you are confident in that you will and are getting better. how positive is that? very!
remember to breathe, be positive, talk gently to yourself, and be happy. enjoy the little victories and successes. they're your's to cherish!

The Boundaries Of Experience
Expanding Your Comfort Zone
Leaving your comfort zone of current patterns and behaviors is a courageous step toward self-growth.
None of us are born with a guidebook that provides explicit rules for thought and behavior that will enable us to navigate life successfully. To cope with the myriad of complexities to which all of humanity is subject, we each develop a set of habits and routines that ground us, their continuity assuring us that life is progressing normally. Most of us know, whether instinctively or by experience, that transformations can be uncomfortable, but we always learn and gain so much. Any initial discomfort we experience when expanding our comfort zones diminishes gradually as we both become accustomed to change and begin to understand that temporary discomfort is a small price to pay for the evolution of our soul.
Your current comfort zone did, at one time, serve a purpose in your life. But it is representative of behaviors and patterns of thought that empowered you to cope with challenges of days past. Now, this comfort zone does little to facilitate the growth you wish to achieve in the present. Leaving your comfort zone behind through personal expansion of any kind can prepare you to take the larger leaps of faith that will, in time, help you refine your purpose. Work your way outward at your own pace, and try not to let your discomfort interfere with your resolve. With the passage of each well-earned triumph, you will have grown and your comfort zone will have expanded to accommodate this evolution.
Whether your comfort zone is living with your parents, or perhaps being too shy to socialize, or maybe it’s not realizing your spirit self—whatever it is, start small, and you will discover that venturing beyond the limited comfort zone you now cling to is not as stressful an experience as you imagined it might be. And the joy you feel upon challenging yourself in this way will nearly always outweigh your discomfort. As you continue to expand your comfort zone to include new ideas, activities, goals, and experiences, you will see that you are capable of stimulating change and coping with the fresh challenges that accompany it.

Oh No !!!! Mrs T Bones is driving ?!?!?!? Everyone ! Get off the sidewalks ! Here comes Mrs. T Bones !!! LOL (just kidding ! LOL)
The weather here this week is going to be in the 70's !!!!! That means everyone will be in a good mood again !
I had a scare this weekend. I was driving down the street with my brother (we were on the way to the dump) and a car rolled over right in front of us ! I've never seen anything like that before ! It hit a huge boulder on the side of the road, became airbourne, and then spun onto it's roof then back on to it's tires again ! It happened right at the intersection that I was about to cross ! If we were 5 more seconds, we would've been hit by a flying car ! I was shaking like a leaf. My brother opened his door and ran over to the car. The guy was slumped over in the front seat. He eventually came to, but he wasn't wearing a seat belt ! He spun around with the car and ended up with the gear shift where NO ONE should have a gear shift EVER ! OUCH !!!!!!! We don't know if the guy was drunk or high, but it was terrifying. We had to stay because we were the only ones that saw what happenend. I was fine until the cops showed up. I started to get a panic attack. We had to go into the back seat of the cop car where the panic attack hit an all time high. The last thing I ever wanted to do was freak out in the back of a cop car ! They'd put me away for sure. I would've ended up in the same ambulance as the guy that rolled the car. I eventually calmed myself down and gave my statement. Now keep in mind that I had a truck full of stuff for the dump. It was 11:45am and the dump closes at 12:45pm. I explained to the cop that we were on our way to the dump and that it closed in an hour. The cop said that wouldn't be a problem. THEN the cop started to talk about stuff that had nothing to do with anything ! How do you tell a cop to shut up and type ???????? I forced a smile and I nodded my head to the babbling. It was now 12:15. FINALLY the cop let us go.
We got to the dump in time. The gates were still open ! We drove down the roadway, turned the corner and saw the line up.......we were in line for an hour ! We figured that they had to let us drop our stuff off because we were inside the gate. It was an hour to get to the top of the hill where the bins are then another half hour to get out of the place. We got back to my brother's house and then we both plunked ourselves onto the couch and stared at a TV that was off for about 5 minutes. I haven't had any car rollover dreams yet. I'm waiting for them to kick in.
Anyway, work went by faster then a rolling car today.
How did the day go for you today ?

good grief - how terrifying for you and your brother!!! do you have any idea if the guy in the car is ok?
i can so understand your having a panic attack. anybody with walking around sense would!!!! you see and are close to being involved in a horrific accident. then you have to wait for the police and make a statement - IN the back of a police car!!!! you are SO normal and SO lucky!!!!! how is your brother making out with all this?
i think the most surprising part is you managed to move forward and get to the dump! i would have probably run home and driven around with stuff in my truck the rest of the week!!!!!
i had a "normal" weekend - thankfully!!!! i just did bits and pieces of this and that around the house.
i had a good day at work. came home and took keeper for a walk on the nature trail - then went for a walk with mama around the lake. i did a little bit of yoga to stretch out some a while ago then took a hot shower. i'm actually all ready for bed - yay for me!!!!!
my hero - don miguel ruiz - has a new book out - "the fifth agreement." since i've been reading and rereading "the four agreements" for years now, i can't wait to buy it. that book has made such a big difference in my life. i didn't realize oprah and ellen had become big fans of his and are pushing his books to the nth degree and then some. he is that good.
have a calm, serene night and a super wonderful tomorrow!

I am so sorry about your scare with that accident. It makes me thank God for traffic delays when I hear about that stuff , maybe God is sparing us ya know? Anyway how very scary and I am proud you handled it well and breathed although heavily, you did it, you made it and you got everything done you wanted to. I am glad you are okay
and Kudos to helping the guy out and not leaving him there alone. Bravo to you guys

thank you so much for that article. I think you should post it upstairs in the general topics.
I went out to Walmart today and spent lots of money. Tax refund money. I needed clothes so badly. I was gone almost 2 hrs shopping. It was nice. I went thru parts of town I hadn't in almost 9 months got in left turn lanes. And when I was in the store I was saying "hi" to people and making friendly conversation..why? cuz thats just how I roll
and because I am a total goober too haha Anyway it felt good to get out and push myself. I didn't get panicky or anxious at all. I was tense a few times but I kept reminding meyself to breathe...I tell ya having money to shop sure is motivating. I am not a window shopper. I need cash!! Preferably big bills
:p

Mrs T Bones ! Thank you for the kind words. Yes He sure has a way with getting me out of trouble ! LOL
P.S. youuuu missed me youuuuuu missed me
youuuu missed me youuuuuu missed me
You couldn't stay away because
youuuu missed me youuuuuu missed me !
Today was a real busy day. It was non-stop (because of the holiday weekend coming up) Before I knew it, it was time to go ! I then realized that I didn't move ALL DAY ! I was in front of the computer from 7:00am until 4:00pm and I didn't take a break or have lunch or even use the washroom or go for a walk in the shop. When I stood up at 4:00 to leave, I almost fell. It was actually kind of funny. When I got home I felt so restless. So, I ended up going for my walk at the river. Since there's construction going on (yes, there's even construction on the WALKING PATH) it took a full 2 hours to do my walk. I feel so good now and so tired at the same time (and kind of thirsty too come to think of it).
Tomorrow is the LAST WORK DAY OF THE WEEK !!!!!
Time to ROCK !
How was today for you ?????
