Oh, the irony.

I just learned yesterday that one of my accounts is the counseling center where my friend went to in 2002. He was in the throes of scary obsessive thoughts and one of his worst was self-harm. He told this to the therapist at this center, stating he had no desire to do it but he had the scary thought of it. The therapist freaked out my friend by making him promise he wouldn't hurt himself. My friend soon found a new therapist--not in the same counseling center--who was trained in Pure OCD thoughts such as this. Note: This is why I always preach that anyone suffering from scary OCD thoughts should be treated by a therapist who is experienced with this type of anxiety.

I called my friend last night and told him. He chuckled and said I should mention a free product and then charge them full retail. :D

Charlie Brown, I'm just getting started on reading this thread. It might take awhile, but I noticed that sometimes you "nibble" on the Xanax. That's what my Dr suggested I do when I feel a bit anxious, since I won't take it at a therapeutic level. I don't want to be dependent it on it if I don't have to.

I happy for you getting those job offers even though you didn't take them. It is always nice to know that "people" or companies want you.

Hip, hip, Hooray! Can't wait to read your story.

Thanks so much!! :) :)

I totally agree with you on the "nibbling."

When I was experiencing alot of anxiety about heart issues four years ago, my cardiologist asked why I didn't taken just the whole .25 mg Xanax tab since this is the smallest dose. I replied that I didn't want to take the whole pill. I preferred starting out with a small piece and seeing if I get relief from that and "work my way up" until I got the anxiety relief without taking too much. He understood my point.

I was just sitting here thinking about all of the prayers which were sent up for you concerning this job thing, and I must say that I am soooooo very grateful that we serve a God, who is never late, but always on time!!!

I was also thinking how HE is supplying you with soooooo many different job choices, that you could have any you choose to pick from!!!

That is the way God works Charlie!!! He loves us sooooo very much and HE hears our faintest cries for help!!! And when HE pulls through for us, then He opens many, many doors of opportunity!!!

I feel sooooooooo very blessed to be just a tiny portion in all of these blessings, which our Savior is pouring out on you!!! I am sharing in your great joy!!! I pray you don't mind :?

I would like to share this song with you, because I feel like it may "ring" a bell in your life!!!

Enjoy... 4 Days Late & Always on Time!!!

Have a beautiful day filled with much laughter, sunshine and joy!!!
:) Thank so much! :)

Thanks so much, THH. :) And thanks for remembering my T-shirt. No I didn't buy it yet. That may have to go on the backburner a little more. I forgot I have a deductible on my health insurance. It's actually a small one but for someone who had cobwebs in their bank account four months ago :D, I gotta do this piecemeal.

It's a pretty good feeling. I am in one word: happy.

I was actually thinking of how fast this holiday went. I got out a couple of hours early on Wednesday, off the next two days, and of course Saturday and Sunday.
