Jenny,
I also had a bad reaction to Celexa, which really scared me. I had only been on it for seven days, when I had an episode with my walking. I felt like my brain was not communicating with my legs. One day I was at the hospital for a test, and the nurse asked me what medications I could not take. I told her that when I was on Celexa I felt like I was having a stroke. She said that she had heard a lot of patients say the same thing.
How is Buspar?

I have been taking Buspar for a couple of years now. I take 30 mg twice a day. I think it is the best medication, with the least amount of side effects of all of the drugs that I have taken. I have taken Lexapro, Celexa, Cymbalta and Wellbutrin. Buspar seems to have the least amount of side effects and really seems to help control the anxiety. I asked my doctor for Xanax recently when my anxiety really peaked, but he would not prescribe it. He told me it a drug that only works for a short time and people become less motivied to work on their issues when on that drug. It also can be addictive.
