I am indeed STUPID!
Songwriter...Do not call yourself "stupid"....You are not stupid in any way...Do NOT believe it, when others insinuate that you are!!!
We are not what others think of us, or what we have been led to believe during our lifetime...
Just because we make a minor mistake does not in any way make us "stupid"....
Never undermine your intelligence!!! You can do anything that you set your mind to do!!!
Just because that "subject" is not one of your strengths, does NOT mean in any way, that you are stupid...
I am sure you have many strengths, and you are not giving yourself credit for the many strengths you have acquired throughout your lifetime!!!
You have much to offer this world, and I pray that you realize this!!!
Do not allow your past or anything, or anyone, to undermine your true "intelligence"....
I pray you have a great night!!! God Bless...

Hey songwriter,
I appreciate you so much for venting out. I feel the same way almost everyday. But going through the program, I've learned to allow the reactive thought to come and quickly go. Instead of giving in to your thoughts, allow them to come AND go. In other words, if you think you're stupid, shrug it off because you know you're really not. No one on earth is perfect. We all make mistakes. I am just learning this now. This plus positive self talk and being aware/grateful of the present moment does wonders to alleviate negetive thinking. Oh yea, don't forget your 2-4 breathing. Calms me down pretty fast.
Hang in there friend.

CAlfonso thanks for the "Back to Basics" advice.
I think sometimes we get so caught up in trying to convince others that they aren't "stupid" it just so much easier to give the simple advice from the program because IT WORKS.
The OP really knows he isn't stupid, I believe this in my heart, but is really asking for a helping hand in how to get over those feelings.
It's those thoughts and feelings that we are trying to learn to get a handle on isn't it.
