Redbud I agree with everything Paislley said & keep moving forward even if you don't feel ready, 1 session per week. You can do it & we are here for you. God will help us we need to believe & be patient.

Good for you, Redbud, I've been working on my Blessing or Gratitude list, usually just verbally, but it helps me to ignore imperfections in my house. Usually done by plain wear and tear, but some is done by carelessness of others or unknowingly things done that frustrate me. Part of anxiety brings things like that more into focus, so I really try to work on that.

How are you doing, Silver? Paislee

I'm sorry that you are having a hard time.

I am also a female going thru perimenopause and in fact, just got home from talking to my compounding pharmacist about my hormonal shifts, etc. and what are we going to do about this. What I am saying is..... many of the things you are talking about feeling CAN be from your hormones being out of whack. Of course, the MDs in the ER are not going to tell you that as that is not what they are looking for.

If you'd like, I could give you the name and number of my guy and maybe you could get some info from him or find a person like him in your area. Also look up http://www.womentowomen.com for info. on this subject, so that you can be reassured that you are not going nuts.

And, re looking at your information is a good idea. It does work, so keep at it. I also like a book from Dr. Howard Leibgold called "freedom from Fear".

You could have the big combo of hormone change and anxiety. I've been there and there is hope.
I am dealing with the exact same thing tons of stress and the hormonal fluctuations. I have visited the Woman wo Woman site and there is a lot of really great info there about anxiety and hormones. I am also starting to take the vitamin supplements so I am really hoping that they will help to make a difference for me. I also take a bioidentical progesterone pill at night and that is also supposed to help to calm you down.

My understanding is that when we are anxious this wears down our adrenals=adrenal fatigue. Our engine is always reavving. Then our hormones get out of whack.

May we recover from anxiety & give our adrenals a break.

We can do this

I have read the saame thing about our adrenals getting worn out. I think mine are pretty much exhausted at this point in time. (lol) I am watching what I eat and taking the vitamins my OB/GYn reccomended and talking the dog for a walk everyday. Exercise helps to get those healthy endorphins flowing and always gives my spirt a boost.

I tried the resue remedy I didn't notice much difference. That was before the program. 5htp can help with stress & sleep.
