Wow Jennie, you guys really got hammered. But see how strong you have been? Terri is right--look how much progress you have made. My mother used to say that oftentimes good comes out of what you think is the worst. You are doing great and I am really proud of you!! I did read in our Memphis paper that people in Nashville got innundated with water in just minutes. In a case like that, about all you can do is grab your kids and pets and get in the rescue boats.

You're right--if you bought it on ebay, StressCenter.com won't give you another one. But that little angel Terri is coming to the rescue. Yeah Terri. I think you are totally cool!! Sorry about your house. You never realize how much personal history you have in your home until it is gone. They are like our nests.

I'll be praying for you too Jennie. Keep in touch and let us know how things are going for you.

Samcat-

I am honored to be used by God in this little ole way to help a fellow anxiety-buff. I've had these CDs sitting around my house and posted a few times that they were available, but no responses. Now I know why- nfljennie needed them.

It is cool how loving your neighbor brings good feelings all around.

Terri,

I think you are right--you were just keeping them for Jenny. It is neat to see how the Lord works thing out, isn't it? Anyway, you are still tops in my book!! What you did was very kind and loving.

You bet your booty Miss nfljennie, the offer still stands.

I tried to post something a while ago, to see if you were still out there, but no response. I'm thrilled that you resurfaced and have a new place to be and that you are thinking of a job, etc. COOL!!

YUCK on the pictures. What a mess to clean up. Do you just pitch most everything and start over or do you try to save stuff?

Please do contact me and I'll get you the stuff ASAP.

Hey
Sent you a private message but also wanted to answer on here . Yes it was quite a mess and most everything had to be thrown out . It's soo weird how somethings were just everywhere , the kitchen counter was in the dining room , the dining room table was in the living room , there was stuff in the kitchen cabinets (like a house shoe!!) stuff strown everywhere but things like my nephews pics on the frige were still there and my nephews little bike was right where he parked it . Everything was coated in a thick layer of mud . It was shocking to see the destruction but the response from the people helping has been overwhelming . We've had people we don't know drive by and just bring us bags of food with bread, sandwich meat , chips and case of water to give to us and the people working . People I have never met in my life sending us clothes and things . It has really shown me that there are way more good people in this world than bad and that the world isn't as scary a place as I thought it was. I have also never worked harder in my life either !! LOL! We had to get all the ruined belongings out then completely gut the downstairs .But we have the electricity done , the plywood down on the floors and now the drywall is going up . We still have plenty to go but it's looking good and right now that's all I can ask for!!

Thank you soo much !! I know KY got alot of that rain too . I can relate to what you said about being afraid about what was about to happen . When we were evacuated it was 4:30 am and I had been up all night worring about it . It had already flooded the backyard (which wasn't unusual after a few days of rain) but this rain came down in just a few hours . Then while we were leaving it was storming , hail the size of golfballs and the tornado siren in town was going off . I think it happened so fast I didnt even have a chance to panic. But believe me I learned this the hard way you can get through anything .God never gives you more than you can handle
