zoloft for panic disorder??

thanks all. i am very scared of starting on something because i=of the awful side effects but i feel pretty awful now so i dunno. my doc prescribed me paxil cr but i dont really want to take it

I am going through the same thing. Last time I went to the doctor I told him my syptoms, so he ran a few blood tests, you know the usual thyroid and such, but he was sure (as I was but didn't want to admit it) that it was anxiety. He asked me if I wanted to come back in two week to discuse drug options and I told him I would.....that was 5 weeks ago and I am still afraid.

I am new to this site. I am also taking zoloft. I have been taking it for about three weeks.I started on 50 for about a week then went to 100 mg. I have felt very nervous lots of inner shaking. I am also having a hard time sleeping. I have now went back to 50 mg. seems to be working better. I am taking a sleep aid now as well.I started on remeron and it worked great but gained 10 lbs in three weeks. I hope zoloft does the trick for me. Did it make anyone else very nervous in the first three weeks?
