I am truly sorry you think that way, all I can say is I will pray for you, I and many many others have gone through panic, anxiety, as you have, I do beleave in the Lord and I do beleave God helps those who help themselves. I know i felt like I was at the bottom of a pit and I could not get out I could not. But I did I did. And now I am full of LIFE. I prayed and I thank GOD everyday, everyday is my new beginning, I am blessed, I am strong and I am.......... and someday you will be too. Take Care, and remember Jesus Loves you..
Hey, everyone (Mike, Grace, Don).
I just want to clarify: I'm not angry at anyone, and I'm not attacking anyone. If my post came off like that, I apologize. I'm not mad at anyone at the StressCenter.com, or Lucinda. It's just that text has a habit of stripping the tone it was written in. If there's a way to amend the topic postings so they're less offensive, please let me know how to do so (ie: where do I click, etc.)
The best way to describe my non-belief in God is to compare it to Mr. Spock from Star Trek. I'm not angry. I'm just trying to state my points as rationally as I can. Just imagine someone kind of shrugging as they say it, and you'll have how I wanted this to come across. These are the reasons I don't believe. It's just, you know, kind of illogical. [Shrugs, scratches head, makes Vulcan hand sign].

Doogiet
Ok no problem.
Like i said before..maybe it isn't so important for you to have a faith right now. I can respect and accept this choice. You still got my support.

Doogiet
Nah, no need to delete it. It's a good learning experience for everybody. We may need to be responsible for our words but at the same time the people on the other hand are responsible for how they react to it.
I do want to say one last thing. I know everybody here is trying to be helpful to Doogiet and we do try putting ourselves in his shoes but it is difficult to do so without letting go of our own limitations. The idea of God may be diffrent from person to person. Some people it causes anxiety where other people it gives great hope. I don't feel that God right now is something that gives Doogiet hope and it's ok. This doesn't mean there is no hope in his recovery nor does it mean that he is going to suffer the same way that other people may suffer without this great hope that God gives them. Neways this is the lesson I get out of this thread.

I decided to delete my posts. I wasn't trying to be difficult, but wanted to throw some things out. I can understand your disappointment with praying. I've had similar difficulty in the last seven years. I'm trying to be sensitive here and show respect so I decided to delete the posts. They were apparently interpreted as being defensive and I was just trying to shed more light on evolution and how it's not all it's cracked up to be either, for me anyway. I think scientists have jumped the gun and "taken matters into their own hands". lol
I have picked up from your posts that you seem to be a nice person and sensitive to others, doogiet. You have some very good qualities. Just want you to know I accept you for who you are. Hope you're doing okay today and continuing to work with the progam.
