Klonopin withdraw
Hi, I've been on Klonopin for 9-10 yrs now at .05 3x per day. I actually have benn more as needed but still take every day. I have been off of Lexapro for 10 months and that went smooth. I am trying to get off of Klonopin but didn't realize there could be severe withdraw until today. I have been sick to my stomach and real skittish feeling along with overall moderate to high anxiety. I looked it up on the web and realized I am probably withdrawing after a few days off of it completely. Yes I am calling my Dr, tomorrow ! Anyone else have this happen ? I want to use the program to cure my anxiety as I am tired of the meds and how they make me feel. Thanks

I have been on Clonazepam which is the generic for Klonopin for abut 20 years. I am in the process of lowering the amount I take daily per my doctors recommendation. My current daily intake was one tablet twice a day and about 5 years ago I went to 1/2 tablet twice a day. I imagine once I go to 1/2 a day I could have some side effect's but I will let you know what happens.

I was on Clonazepam for 2yrs. I had to stop when I found out I was pregnant. I actually did not have any side effects. Maybe because I was taking 1/4 of 0.5mg. when needed. I actually was having 1/2 a pill per day. Since I gave birth I have been dealing it with thinking positive and ignoring the pains.I tried to remind myself that everthing is fine. I hope I dont have to take the medication any more. I have been without the medication for 15 months. I feel much better than before I got pregnant. Try to think positive and get advice from your primary professional about the medication. Good Luck!
