my dr. put me on anti-anxiety klonopin and anti-depressant remeron, but I still feel the same. I still have scary thoughts! I want to get off these meds but don't know how!

Hi Roxy Baby,

How long have you been on Klonopin and what dose are you taking? You have to wean youself off very slow. I have been on it for 20 years and would like to go off of it. I am doing this program so that I can deal with the anxiety and than I may try to get my dosage down. There are some sites out there regarding withdrawal. If you are interested, let me know and I will see if I can find them.l My advice to you is to get off the klonopin. Are you doing the program?

Roxy Baby
Hi I have been thru the program and YES it WORKS!!!! It will be the best thing you could have done for yourself. But you must apply your self and be committed. Do all that they say the homework etc. You will be suprised in time things will be so much better. I had severe anxiety and panic attacks 24/7 and now I truly feel recovered. Good Luck to you. I wish you the very best and if you need a friend to talk to just send me an email.

Hi roxy baby

I have been taking klonipin for 7 mos. now, this is my second bout of panic attacks. First started 8 yrs ago and i took paxil then and it worked, but my attacks were so much worse that my MD put me on something stronger. It has worked pretty well for me,but if your not seeing improvement talk to your MD about trying something else. I am also doing the program and yes I think it helps, although some It I don't relate to and I wish they would cover more things i do relate to, but it is helpful. I have been having panic/anxiety for 1 year now and I am slowly improving, good/bad days, I do more on the good days, and try to take it one day at a time and not get discouraged. Good luck and hang in there, we need to keep fighting.
