I'm still finding it very hard to catch my negative thoughts and replacing them. I do know that they are all negative right now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how they did it and what worked for them.

I have listened to #3 over and over many times and know it but I'm having a very hard time putting it to work.

I also still find myself scared of the anxious feelings at times and keep telling myself they won't hurt me and then they keep coming back. I know this is a bad habbit to break the negative thinking but sometimes it feels so overwhelming when I can't keep on top of the positive thought replacement. Did everyone write down every negative thought or what worked best for you?

I've got 2 young kids so don't have too much free time to write everything down.

My anxiety is consuming me since I know it is from my marrital problems and about which way it will go with the marriage.

I could handle the way I felt before the panic started 2 months ago but now sometimes wonder how long this will last and feel at least where I was? I'm sure it is all about the homework but I have used every spare minute studying and writing.

Thanks much!

Sorry you are going thru this time of your life.
I'm having one of those times tonight is why I am here writing, trying to get my mind off of worry.
You just need to keep talking to people, that will help you with dealing with the day to day thoughts. Your children need you so much.
I'm new here so don't know your problem with marriage etc. But I have been thru those times and by the grace of God got thru them.
My main problem was dealing with the estrogen. Ha Ha my co worker would say I see you need your shot , leave the office and go now. My shots only lasted me three weeks, so I had to go back to the pills, so to last me thru the 4 weeks. Thought I'd lose my mind. Having support is the main thing and understanding from others. Seek out and find people willing to help, don't be afraid to ask, talking things out helps to get you thru each day.
I don't even know how to use this forum, never been on anything like this before but I know talking and not being alone is the ticket to getting your life back.

Rumpoint,

Make a list of say 30 positive affirmations and read them every morning when you wake up, and each evening before you go to bed. Also, keep this list in your car. This is a habit you have to force on yourself with repitition.

Are you writing them down? You have to actually write it down. Just trying to think your way out of negativity doesn't work, at least not for me.
