Nursing school or not?

Hello I'm a lurker who is going through the program . I'm on lesson 4 right now . I need some quick advice about a decision I'm about to make . Here's a quick background . I've had problems with anxiety since I was little ; panic attacks started at 12 , by the time I was 15 I was agoraphobic . I've never learned to drive , never had a job outside the home ( regular babysitting jobs only for me ) and only one boyfriend to speak of ( he's no longer around I still love him but I guess he has nothing to do with my question so I'll go on ) . Growing up my dream was to become a nurse . The last few years I've rethought that thinking that I don't have the personality to deal with being a nurse and that there were other things I wanted to do with me life . Part of me still wants to try being a nurse however and there is a local ( like 5 mins away ) nursing course that will be starting in january . You have to go to an info session first before you can even apply . The info session is on thrusday . The last few days I've gotten my self all hyped up to go to this and I'm having one of those conversation you have with yourself about should I or shouldnt I ? Part of me feels like I just need to do it . Just go to the session . It wont start for few months and in that time I can prepare myself by doing the program and learning to drive all the stuff I need to do . My Dad is really excited about me doing this and this is the first time I've felt he didnt think I was a failure in a long time . This makes me feel like he has faith in me and I need to not let him down . The other part of me thinks I just need to keep doing the program and take things one at a time . Maybe get a parttime job , learn to drive , go to a career counsler and figure out if nursing is what I want to , etc . After all they have the program every year . I can always do it next year . I dont know what to do . One minute I think I'm gonna just do it . The next I'm thinking no go slow it'll be there next year . UUUUgggghhh !! Now I've got myself in a tizzy . LOL . Untill this I was doing the slow go planning to get a job at the library cause it's one of my safe places . Then learn to drive get a license . Then everyone was talking about the nursing course to me and it got me excited that they ( my dad , mom and ex sister in law ) thought I could do this . I checked out a few nursing school cliff notes books ( realised how much math is involved , Do Not like this part cause me and math we dont mix LOL) and really started to consider it . I even got myself hyped up enough that I decided to go out and get my hair cut something that usually makes me panic and that I havent done in a long time . But I just decided last minute to do and I did it . I was nervous the whole time and I didnt have my any of my safe people with me they went to do some shopping with I just went in and did this myself . Love my hair by the way .LOL Ok so this has me so excited/ nervous I'm babbling . I'll quit now LOL
