Fears...what do I believe
Im really struggling with trust of myself and what I think I believe. When I first did this program years ago I felt so much growth and change ,but now I dont sense any change and not sure why. It seemed so fresh and true and now it seems like it did not work because Im still struggling with new anxiety.I keep telling myself that I can change and will but I dont believe it. I have been through a lot of loss the last couple years and have had some very confusing friendships with people. My husband and myself are very involved in our church in leadership and have become friends with some pastors. I felt very solid in my convictions or a long time but after being friends with him( he is very intimidating) I now very anxious as to what I can and do think of truth. I know this sounds confusing but my anxiety level is over the top. Everytime I try to use my discernment or belief system I get sooo anxious. Questioning everything and likeI said I cant find the proper thoughts to combat all the negative thoughts. Im not sure at all now to get back to what I did believe or how to get a new belief system. Wow i read this an get soo scared . Any input would be great. Thanks!

I've been around this topic a number of times. It can be a rough ride. Religion and politics, even meds or no meds, are interesting topics, to be sure, but not easy to navigate. Feelings can be potent.
The program here (re anxiety) is not necessarily a cure-all for all time. Sometimes it requires renewed attention. If it helped you in the past maybe you just need a refresher. Try it again. Wishing you the best.

You're very welcome. Just want to add that your name has become a goal in my evolution toward health and well being. I like to make up acronyms for myself. Here is my latest: PACT
P peace
A acceptance
C calm
T truth

Hey Tina, I love PACT. I'm going to have to remember that one for myself, now if I can just follow it maybe my anxiety will ease off somewhat.tina martin wrote:You're very welcome. Glad you like my little invention, KAMO. So I'll expand a bit: Peace and Calm are often the mantras when I meditate and say the words to breathe in and out. Acceptance and Truth are two big goals I strive for. I have a few other acronyms. The nice part is anyone can make up their own.
And, yes, pushing is crucial. We must always gather our energies to resist what seeks to keep us down. It takes drive, determination, work, resistance; and, as you say, pushing.
