Fear of Spouse Cheating anyone else?
I think it's more obsessive thoughts than anxiety, but the way to get rid of those thoughts is to figure out what's the root of why you are thinking that way.
Is it because you feel you aren't good enough?
Is it a trust issue?
Is it some kind of past issue with other relationships?
Is it because you watch the news about infidelity?
When you figure out what the root is, then you can work on that. May take some time, but it'll be worth it.

You mention anxiety/relationships, is this a trust issue? When I married I shared with my husband about being frigid, fear of being touched. I can remember it took me over five years to get past the bad memories and dreams.Been married now over 37 years and still struggle with trust issues.Originally posted by Olivia25:
I have been married for a year now. I am new to fighting my head. My anxiety comes out the most in relationships I noticed. Was wondering if anyone else struggles with anxious thoughts specficly about there spouse cheating on them? In any way? is this anxiety?
Your marriage is so so new, don't de-rail it because of anxiety and thoughts of cheating. Shifrah's comments will help also, don't panic and settle your thoughts. Hope you are doing better this evening. We're here for you.
