I have been taking a multi vitamin with liquid fish oil for the past few days. I have read alot about the effects of fish oil and depression / anxiety. I will say that I can feel a diffrence in the sence that I have not felt as anxious in the past 2 mornings. Some of my ocd behaviors I am not doing anymore. It's good right????? Here's the catch... I find myself now becoming anxious because I am feeling better. i guess you get so used to feeling scared and anxious that when you are able to let go a little it scares you.....

i have been taking a multi vitamin for 1 week now and started taking liquid fish oil on this past saturday. It is called Carlson's liquid fish oil omega 3. It has 1600 mg per serving which is one teaspoon. It does not taste bad, and has a lemon taste to it. Who know;s maybe it is just in my head, but these past 2 mornings my pulse has not been racing through the roof, and i feel a little less anxious. Problem is once i don't do one of my ocd rituals i think something i sworng. I know anxiety is a "learned" behavior, and we get used to living and feeling a certain way. Hopefully this will continue and i will "learn" how to feel good again and not question it.

It's true! You do get nervous when you aren't feeling nervous! It's like your body is relaxing but your mind is not use to that so you get tense for not being tense-crazy isn't it! I am recently back in my anxiety state but I remember when I was first getting out of it and I was almost scared to feel not nervous. I remember when I began back laughing and having a good laugh- I almost felt like I laughed too hard and too good and it scared me. Fear is what we are best at -learn to relax and just go with the feeling-it's OK!

I have started taking fish oil a few months ago and I definitely see the difference in my anxiety. I also take magnesium calcium citrate. I will have to admit I have felt better than ever since I started both of these.
