Hey everyone! I'll be starting the program again this evening since I've been feeling hopelessly horrible and negative these past couple of days and haven't been able to talk or work myself out of it this time...

I started the program last year and did a couple sessions but then stopped and never got around to actually finishing the program. I guess I just got caught up in the day-to-day living and thought I could just deal with my anxieties and personal issues as they come up...Boy was I wrong...

Anyway, this time I'm more determined to finish the program...Just gotta keep reminding myself that I need to stick with the program to learn how to cope better and to get better...Best wishes to you all!!!!

Hey good job Energy.

I believe many of us have done the same thing (myself included). Sometimes we get a little better and think ok, now it's not so bad i can do the rest on my own. Doesn't always happen this way but that's alright, this is also part of the learning process.

One thing i caution you about is now that you realize this you may create a new rule. I should keep up with the program. This is dangerous as when you miss a day here or there you may feel aweful for not following through with the rule. It may be in your best interest to use the program but there will definately be days when you just don't have the opportunity or you get sick or something. This is bound to happen. Every single thing you do builds on top of the other not you only get better if you get everything done.

I'm doing the program for the second time too. I started in November of last year and went up to week 6 and then stopped because of a health issue. I picked it up again in January and am starting week 7.

I agree with NinjaFrodo, it's okay and realistic to miss a day or a few days even once in awhile.

I started the program in June 2008 and got to week 13 and stopped because I felt great! Big Mistake I guess...2 weeks ago I felt myself slipping and the past few days I have gone through total Terror! panic attack after panic attack...yesterday I got the program out and as soon as I hit 'Play' I had another panic attack so I had to stop the disk. I applaud you for doing it again and you are a good example and encouraging for me...

I completed the program over a year ago and thought I was recovered. This past November my mom was diagnosed with cancer and I did okay for a while (denial and shock) but now I am having at least one anxiety/panic attack per day and feeling anxious throughout the day.
So I am going to do the program again to refine my rools and refresh my inner security. But I have to admit when I first started feeling anxious again, I thought to myself "Well that was a nice anxiety-free year or so I had...I guess that's all I'll get!" But I recognize how silly that is and that that kind og thinking fuels the fire!
We will all go through challenging times in our lives when we need to do the program again. Or maybe nothing in our lives will change and ild habits and anxiety will creep back into our lives and we will have to do the program again.
It worked once for me and it will work again.
And it will work for you. Keep trying!! You are stronger than you think!

I'm starting the program again for the 3rd time. The first two times I stopped at lesson 6. Part of the reason is that the first 5 lessons helped me so much that I was finding it hard to find the time because I was doing other things that I had been avoiding.

I am still doing pretty well, but I believe I need to finish the program to fully recover. It is still hard to find the time, but it is important for me to do so.
